At the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, on the second day of Uttarakhand’s Elite Group D match against Delhi, Dhapola went amok, reducing the previous champions to 11/5 and taking three wickets in a succession.

In the last delivery of Delhi’s opening over of the second innings, the demolition process started. With the first delivery of his second over, Dhapola dismissed skipper Yash Dhull, who had guided his team to victory in the Under-19 World Cup, for a golden duck after bowling Delhi’s opener Arpit Rana for a six-ball duck.

The 33-year-old dismissed Kshitiz Sharma for a golden duck to clinch his hat-trick.

He had taken 2/31 from two overs in Delhi’s first innings, bowling them out for 147 in 49.2 overs.

Only a few days before, at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun, Dhapola tore through Puducherry’s batting order to take 6/32 from 11 overs, including a hat-trick. But even with his outstanding performance with the ball, Uttarakhand was ultimately defeated.

When Dhapola achieved an incredible 6/13 in his Ranji Trophy debut in the 2018–19 season, he gained notoriety. As an added bonus, Uttarakhand’s first-ever first-class match was against Bihar.

Uttarakhand bowled their opponents out at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun for only 60 runs, thanks to their paceman.

During the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy season, Dhapola made news once again as he grabbed eight wickets against Himachal Pradesh, resulting in the hosts being dismissed for only 49 runs. With 8.3 overs, he completed with figures of 8/35.

Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, also praised him for his achievements.
